First Impressions: Cinderella Nine

Yay, sportsball…

Excuse me, miss, but where can I find that sweater? I want it.

Cinderella Nine is a sports anime about a baseball team. It’s fairly standard fare, except that it’s about girl’s baseball, which is a nice twist on the premise, I suppose. The characters are nice enough, so far, and it’s cool that there’s never any sexualization of the girls while they’re playing, despite the occasional pan-up shot.

I’m not particularly interested in sports anime (as I believe I’ve mentioned before), but if you are, and you like watching girls be nice to each other while playing sportsball, then you can’t go far wrong with this one.

Also, I want that sweater. It’s adorable.
