Harold, I think they’re lesbians.
The first magical girl academy is off to a promising, if slow start, with Main Character Girl’s arrival to a prestigious magical school with an unfortunate class problem (pun intended). She’s immediately sorted into the worst class group, but, in true anime fashion, it takes the whole episode for anyone to inform her of this unfortunate fact.
I enjoyed this one – the girls are cute, the magic is neat, and the premiere gave just enough intrigue that I’m willing to give it another go.
Also, there are potentially lesbians. Which is always a win.
